Introducing SafeBilled.com, the home improvement marketplace designed to PROTECT HOMEOWNERS AND CONTRACTORS during home repairs, renovations, maintenance, or improvements.
The best practice during home renovations is to ensure the homeowner's money is “Safe” before entering into any home improvement agreement while the contractor knows they will be paid promptly when work has been finished and “Billed” to the homeowner.
How It Works
The Homeowner’s Role:

Account Creation: The homeowner creates an account and agrees to all terms and conditions including designating their contractor's name through the marketplace.

Escrow Payment: The homeowner pays SafeBilled.com which then deposits funds into the identified contractor’s escrow account.
The Contractor’s Role:

Account Creation: The contractor creates an account, submitting required documents to prove authenticity.

Invoice Creation: The contractor submits to SafeBilled.com the contract and invoice for the home improvement project.

The terms and conditions agreement between all parties designates that SafeBilled.com is the sole- fiduciary for the project. SafeBilled.com will hold the funds in an FBO account provided by Stripe Connect, so that SafeBilled.com never takes posession of the funds. SafeBilled.com has sole-authority to release funds to the contractor when milestones are reached, or the project is completed.

SafeBilled.com will also have the sole-authority to refund to the homeowner any unused funds should the project be canceled or terminated by both parties and no payments are due.
Get Started
Opening an account is easy. Select whether you’re a Homeowner or Contractor and enter basic information such as your name, email, to create a secure profile. Homeowners can then list the project, and the contractor they selected. Contractors then submit their documents to complete the onboarding process.
All users must agree to SafeBilled’s Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy before activating their account, ensuring a trusted and transparent experience for everyone on the platform.
Since SafeBilled is a new marketplace, our contractor network is still growing. If you already have a contractor chosen, invite them to join SafeBilled! Once they create an account, you’ll get payment protection and peace of mind for your project.
